How does the transcription appear?
Every time you receive a voice message on WhatsApp, Zapia automatically sends a message on your behalf — just like if you had replied yourself. That reply already includes the full transcription inside the conversation.

Does everyone in the chat see the transcription?
Yes. Since the message is sent from your number, everyone in that chat can see it.

Can I enable the feature only for certain conversations?
Yes. In the Zapia app, turn on Automatic Transcriptions, then disable transcription buttons for groups or individual chats.
In WhatsApp, open the conversation where you want to use the feature and type /start. From that moment on, only that chat will receive automatic transcriptions.

Can I still transcribe manually, audio by audio?
Yes. Just forward the audio to the Zapia app in three quick steps, and you’ll get the transcription within seconds.

Can I still send audios to Zapia’s WhatsApp number?
Starting December 22, 2025, Zapia will no longer reply via WhatsApp due to a new Meta policy. Zapia will continue responding only through the app — now with many more features and still completely free.

If you prefer a flow similar to the previous model — sending audios directly from WhatsApp for transcription — create a chat with yourself, type /start in that conversation, and forward your audios there.
